Kotekiai June exchange meet/concert is coming edi.. I'm selangor's assistant concert person in charge. Well, first when my chief ask me take up the job, i was like.. okayyy.. Didn't think much of it. Just took it as a challenge. I always take age s a problem. As im young and inexperience. But now, after encouragement from various good leaders and friends, age doesn't matter. Somemore i have my seniors guiding me all the way. So, i shouldn't be afraid. =)
Besides the exchange and concert, High School Division day i coming up. Intense meetings, preps and rehearsels. Its on june 6. Im in charge of section 2. Title is change of our attitude towards others. Well, honestly my section is kinda not prepared yet and kept changing after each meetings and prep. But now we can finally confirm what we're roughly doing on the day and gona go down to klang centre to prepare the sketch. This year we combined with other blocks to work together. I feel its better as our bonds get close and we work together as high school division pics instead of by block. Kind happy la.. =)
Coming back to the exchange. Its to kick start for our 2010 big cultural show in Bukit Jalil. Since we're gona work together with our kotekitai sisters from kl and also twirlers group, so this exchange is to build up friendships and inderstanding between kl and sel kotekitai and also between twirlers and music band ourselves. There's not much pratice left an this sunday is our rehearsel already. My members attendance is still not that good. Encouraging them. Yesterday during the study session with our own sections, i really prepared well beforehand so that i can encourage them and make them realise our mission asIkeda Kayo-kai. Kinda "tegur" them on how they prepare he songs. I shared by using the nhr book. got on part talking about a girl's experience when she joined kotekitai and she couldnt master a piece. And the conductor said to her" You might think it's ok if you can't master this piece. But it is not. The succes of the performance depends on each and ever performers." i shared this with them as so they can realise that they should not depend on the ones beside them. But master the piece as well.
Coming up, there are gona be big challenges. When we had to write targets to achieve by 12th june, the day before our exchange, I wrote a few. One of them was... hmm.. secret. =).. haha.. Anyhow, no matter what challenges that i might face, i will not give up that easily as i did beofre. And will pray for the courage and wisdom to face all these challenges.. I'm also praying for each and every member's happiness. and the success of this exchange meet, concert and of course high school division day. =)
